Knowing what we want but not how to get it
Trying to get what we want but still, we don’t have it
Having what we want only to want something else entirely…
This is the circle we hate to be in but we always seem to be in.
They say the price is big
That the universe has a plan and all one has to do is be patient while trying
But patience has never been an easy virtue, has it?
Now it seems close, closer than it has ever been
But still, some waiting needs to be done.
Why?
Why do I have to wait?
It kills me knowing I need to wait to get to where I want to be
Although waiting can be frustrating, it prepares us for that which is yet to come.
So when next you find yourself waiting just like I am
Make sure you look out for the lessons that should be learnt from the wait.
Maybe, just maybe then you’d be delighted for the period you had waited.
