A Nigerian man who married an older oyinbo woman has sparked controversy online by criticizing people who persistently tease him for the decision.
In a video, the man said that many Nigerians have a low mentality and hence find it significant when they see a white woman.
He claims that before he met his wife, he travelled a lot since, in contrast to popular assumption, he did not need her money to thrive.
Claiming that he matched several of his buddies with white women for marriage, he urged trolls to check his profile.
He went on to say that even those who rush to his comment section to disparage him end up in his direct message (DM), pleading with him to put them in touch with a white woman for marriage. Some even go so far as to approach his wife in secret with marriage proposals.
He confronted the trolls and told them to get on with their lives and leave him alone since love knows no age restrictions. He went on to say that they are getting ready for their wedding and that he met her on TikTok.
