I went to sleep last night
With only one wish;
That I wake up this
Morning with amnesia.
Lose the memory of
Everything that has
To do with you.
Every single one.
The shyness in your giggle
Every time I said something silly.
The crimson your lips make
Every time you smile.
The way your hair rolls
Down off your shoulders.
The colour of your eyes.
The smell of your perfume.
But I woke up with
The memories intensified.
It’s difficult to forget what
Has come to be a part of you.
