LIFE

Life is not a bed of roses!
Why does mine feel like a land mine?
“Make lemonades when life throws lemons at you”, they say.
Trust me. I tried!
Why does it still taste sour?
“Make soup when life throws pepper at you”, they say.
Why is it still hot and feels like dragon’s breath?

I want to be optimistic. I do!
But how can I?
When life has been so cruel and harsh!
It has wrapped me in the tentacles of pain and anguish; deep down in a chasm where I languish!

Fear grips me!
it is dark in here!
I have been screaming my lungs out but no one seems to hear!

The fear so little is now grown into a grizzly bear!
I need do something! Fast!
Before it tears me into shreds.
I can feel its clutches like little rats, nibbling through concretes; gnawing through my consciousness.
I sit motionless almost an empty shell.

There is no light in here
Morning comes after the darkest hour
I am holding on to a thing thread.
Hope!
