The well-known singer asserted in an interview that afrobeats, which have long been popular both inside and outside of the continent, means everything to her.
She claimed that afrobeat was the greatest genre and that she had grown up listening to it.
Being among the top performers tasked with introducing the genre to a larger audience made Ayra Starr feel appreciative.
When asked which afrobeat artists she listens to, she replied that she loves and listens to Burna Boy, herself, Rema, and anything that is popping.
